Witche's Autumn

This Tutorial was written by me, Angel Flower, from my own ideas. Any similarities to others is coincedence. All my tutorials are registered with TWI.

For this tutorial you will need
Scrapkit. I am using a PTU kit called Autumn Dreams by
Aussiescrappers which you can purchase here http://www.designerscrapslivinlarge.com/
They have an awesome blog here http://aussiescrappers.blogspot.com/

Tube of choice, I am using the work of Nikki Burnette, you must purchase a license from MPT, www.mypsptubes.com to use her work.
You may want to use two tubes for this tutorial from the same artist.

New image-600x600.
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. This will be our background. Resize if needed.

If you are using this kit or a similar kit, paste some pumpkins along the bottom. Otherwise, use any elements such as flowers, that you think would look good.

Paste your tube as a new layer and position toward the center of your tag. Give it a drop shadow of -2,0,100,6 black.

Paste a scarecrow, or maybe another tube of choice if your kit doesn't have a scarecrow, to the right of the tag.
Move this layer so it is below everything except our paper background. See my tag for reference.

Copy and paste a frame and position to the left of the tag in the top corner.
Resize as needed. See my tag for reference.

Open a paper to use in the frame. Click in the frame with the magic wand.
Now because my frame is decorated, i went selections-modify-expand by 14.
If your frame is undecorated you will only need to expand by 3-5.
Keep seleceted. Paste the paper as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete. Selections-select none.

Give the frame layer a drop shadow of 0,0,100,5,black.

Make the paper for the frame active. Paste some word art as a new layer and position in the right side of the frame. Resize if need to make it fit. Paste a flower of choice next to the word art, toward the bottom of the frame. resize if needed.
Paste a different flower of choice just above the one you just pasted. See my tag for reference.

Now is the time to resize your tag if you wish to do so.
Add your copyright info. Add your name, postition how you like. Give it a drop shadow and thats it, you are done.

Here is the version using only flowers and another tube

Mysterious Whispers

This Tutorial was written by me, Angel Flower, from my own ideas. Any similarities to others is coincedence. All my tutorials are registered with TWI.

For this tutorial you will need

One or two tubes of choice. The tube I am using comes with two seperate pieces on different layers. I am using the work of Tony Mauro. You must purchase a license from AMI, http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/ to use his work.
I happened to purchase mine when he was with cilm.

Scrapkit. I am using a kit called Whispered Serenity which you can purchase from Digital Chaos here http://www.fall3nangel.com/store/

New Image-600x600-transparent.

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer. If needed resize by about 85%, all layers unchecked.

Now paste a paper that either looks crumpled or that has burnt edges and resize by about 75%, again all layers unchecked.
See my tag for reference to get an idea of how this should look.
If it is still too big, resize again. Once happy, change the blend mode by double clicking the layer in the layer palette and where it says blend mode, change it to soft light.

Paste your tube as a new layer. My tube came with two pieces on seperate layers. So for the first part I used the mirror image.
Again, if needed resize as above. Lower the opacity on this tube layer by double clicking on the tube layer and where it says opacity, change it to about 60. This is where you need a second tube.
I pasted the other part of my tube, which was just the vamp lady, to the right side of my mirror tube. Once happy with the positioning, make sure the bottom part of this tube is at least slightly hanging over the bottom of our smaller paper. Make the smaller paper layer active. Selections-select all. Selections float-then selections defloat. Now go selections invert. Make your regular tube layer active and hit delete. Select None. See my tag for reference for how your tube should look.

Make the paper background layer active(the big paper).

Copy and paste a flower of choice as a new layer and position
so that it is centered over our tube that has the lowered opacity.
If it looks too big resize it a little. Lower the opacity to about
50%.

Make your top layer active. Copy and paste another flower of choice as a new layer and position in the top left corner.
Duplicate and go image mirror. This should position the duplicate in the right top corner. You may need to move it slightly. Once happy merge these two together by going layers, merge, down. Duplicate and go image flip and postion so they sit on the bottom corners.

Paste some diamonds or a doodle and position toward the top left so they sit just above the mirror. erase any parts that are showing through our flower with the lowered opacity so that it looks like it goes under the flower. See my tag for reference. Once happy duplicate it, and go image flip, and position so it sits the same way as the top.
Again erase any bits that show through the flower. See my tag for reference.
Now merge these two diamond/doodle layers together by going layers, merge, down.
Duplicate, and mirror.
Position the same way against the mirror. Merge these two together.
Lower the opacity to 60.

Copy and paste a ribbon of choice. Go image-free rotate-right-90 and make sure that all layers and rotate single layer are UNchecked. ok.
Position along the left side of your tag. See my tag for reference. The ribbon i used had a bow on it. If you are using a plain ribbon, you may wish to paste a bow, rotate it as we did the ribbon and paste it in the center of the ribbon. If you have to do it this way, merge the two layers once happy with the position. Then duplicate it, image, mirror. If needed position it so it sits properly on the right side of the tag. Again, see my tag for reference.

Now you can either leave the ribbons as is or you can cut of the ends so that they end where our smaller paper ends. To do this make the smaller paper layer active and go selections-select all- float-defloat-invert. Now make your first ribbon layer active and grab your eraser tool. Do not hit delete for this or it will delete half your ribbon.
With your eraser tool about size 16, hardness 19, erase the bottom part of the ribbon straight across even with the marching ants around the bottom of the smaller paper and erase the parts below that. Do not erase anything higher the where the marching ants are. Now do the same thing along the top part of the ribbon.
Then make the other ribbon layer active and do the same thing on the bottom and top.
Select none.

Now give each of your ribbon layers a drop shadow. I used 0,-2,71,6, black. Then repeat changing only the -2 to 2. Do the same for the other ribbon.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so. Make sure you check all layers.

Add your copyright info. Now add your name. Convert to raster. With your magic wand click inside each letter. Make sure the mode for the magic wand is set to add(shift), feather 0,tolerance 10. Once you have clicked inside each letter, go to effects, 3d effects, inner bevel, bevel 2, width 6, smoothness 28, depth 12, ambience and shininess 0, angle 318, intensity 40, elevation 34, color white. Select none.

And thats it, you are done!

Flood fill with white.

Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.
Resize if needed. Anytime you think something is too big you can resize it to your liking.

Copy and paste a frame as a new layer. Resize by going image-resize- by about 80%, all layers unchecked.
Give it a drop shadow. Effects--3d effects--drop shadow--I used 0,0,100,5 and black.

Grab your magic wand--mode add--match rgb--tolerance 10--feather 0.
Click in the center of your frame. Selections--modify--expand by 8. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.
Selections--invert--hit delete. Select none.

Add your tube and resize if needed as we did above. Place so that your tube is sitting or laying on the frame. See my tag for reference. Give it a drop shadow of choice.

Paste some flowers along the side of the frame. Make sure they are under the frame layer and the paper layer for the frame. Merge these flowers together.

Now paste a different flower and place on the same side of the frame in the center of the flowers you just pasted. See my tag for reference.
Merge this flower to the other flowers. Now duplicate this layer and go image--mirror. This should position the duplicate on the opposite side of the frame.

Now choose another element, I used a fan, and paste across the bottom of the frame. Make sure you place these above the frame layer but below the tube layer. I slightly rotated the first one, then i duplicated it, and went image mirror.
This should put it on the opposite bottom corner.
I then placed two more fans along the bottom center of the frame.
see my tag for reference. Merge only these embellishments together.
Give it a dop shadow.

I then pasted a letter envelope in the right corner of my tag. You can use any embellishment you think looks good.

Paste a dragonfly or butterfly on the top left corner. Give it a drop shadow.
Duplicate it and mirror it. Position just above the embellishment you put in the
bottom right corner. see my tag for reference.

Now is the time to resize you tag if you wish, make sure to check all layers.
Now add your copyright info. Add your name in a font of choice. give it a drop
shadow.

Choose a paper to be used as a border. Paste as a new layer onto your canvas. If it is too big, go to image-resize-about 85%, all layers unchecked.
If it is still too big repeat that step till it is the size of the canvas.

Now choose a paper to use for a background. Paste as a new layer and resize it untill it is slightly smaller than the first paper we pasted. Now it should
look like the bottom paper is a border to the background paper.

Paste some journal papers as a new layer toward the top left of your tag. Resize if needed. You can use the same method as before or you can use the little pick tool, which is the little arrow tool. If you click this, you will see a box around the layer you are working on. Grab one of the corners and drag it slowly to the size you want. Rotate it slightly.
See my tag for reference.

Paste a butterfly as a new layer and resize. Position it in the top center of the papers. Again see my tag for reference.

Paste a frame as a new layer. Resize it and position to the top right of your tag. See my tag for placement. You will need to rotate it slightly.

Paste another paper as a new layer and resize. Go to selections-invert. Hit delete. Select none. Move this layer below the frame layer. This is the paper for the frame.

Grab the tube you want to use in the frame and paste it as a new layer. Resize it. Position the part you want to use so it shows in the frame. Move this layer below the frame layer.

On your frame layer, Use your magic wand again and click in the center of the frame. Go to selections-modify-expand by 3. Selections invert. Make the tube layer active and hit delete. Select none.

Make your frame layer active. Go to layers-merge-down. This should merge your frame and tube layer we just did. Now do this one more time and it should merge those with the paper for the frame. Now you should have one layer with the entire photo we created. Give it a drop shadow.

Duplicate the photo and go image mirror. Position toward the bottom of the tag. Move this layer below the journal papers layer. See my tag for placement.

Paste a key as a new layer. Resize and rotate it slightly. Position so it sits on top of part of the bottom photo and the corner of the journal papers. Make sure this layer is above the journal papers layer.
Again see my tag for how it should look.

Paste a flower branch as a new layer and position on the right side of the tag. Make sure this layer is just above the background paper layer. You should see the flowers stick out a little on the side. Once happy, duplicate and go image mirror.

Now paste your main tube as a new layer and position where you like it or how i did mine. Give it a drop shadow.

This is the time to resize your entire tag if you think it is too big. Go to image-resize-choose your percent and make sure all layers is checked this time.

For this tutorial you will need a tube of choice. I am using the work of Jessica Galbreth. You must purchase a license from CILM, www.cilm.com, to use here work.

Scrapkit. I am using a PTU kit called Antique Rose by Melisa from Poisoned Princess.
You can purchase the kit here www.poisonedprincess.com.

New Image-600x600-transparent.

Choose one of your papers for a background. Copy and paste it onto your canvas as a new layer. Resize if needed by going to image-resize-and change the percent to about 85. You can adjust this as needed. Make sure all layers is unchecked. You can use this method to resize anytime something is too big.

Paste a frame as a new layer and resize.

Choose a paper for the inside of your frame. Paste it as a new layer and resize it. Move this layer below your frame layer.

Make your frame layer active and grab your magic wand with these settings-mode add-match mode rgb- Tolerance 20- feather 0. Click in the center of your frame.
Go to Selections-modify-expand by 5. Now go to selections invert. Make the paper that we chose for the frame active. Hit delete. Select none.

Give your frame layer a drop shadow of choice.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Resize as needed. Move this below the frame layer but above the paper for the frame. Position so the part you want shows through the frame.

Make your frame layer active and grab your magic wand with the same settings as before. Click in the center of the frame. Go to selections-modify -expand by 5. Go to selections invert.
Make your tube layer active and hit delete. Select none. Now the only part of your tube left should be what shows through the frame.
Give it a drop shadow.

Hide your two background layers, the paper and the blank layer, and then go to layers-merge-visible. Unhide the two background layers.

Make the background paper layer active. Paste some flowers, or a cluster of flowers, around the top corner of your frame. If using seperate flowers, merge them together into one layer when you are happy with them. Now duplicate the flowers layer and go to image-mirror. Merge these two layers together by making the top one active and go layers-merge-down. Duplicate this layer and go to image flip. You should now have two cluster layers of flowers, one around the top of the frame and one around the bottom. See my tag for reference.

Now choose a different flower. Paste as a new layer. Resize if needed. Position on one side of the frame in the center . Again duplicate and go image mirror. Now you have one on each side in the center.
Duplicate one of these flowers and position at the top of the frame in the center. Duplicate and go image flip. So now you should have a total of four, one on each side of the frame.

Give the last four flowers we did a drop shadow.

Paste a rose as a new layer. Move this layer above the frame layer. Resize as needed. Position to one side of the frame. See my tag for reference. Duplicate the rose. Go to image-mirror, and then image-flip. Position as you like or see my tag again for how it should look.

Now paste a tear drop or gem as a new layer and repeat the same steps we just used for the rose.

Now is the time to resize your whole tag if you think it is too big. Go to image-resize-choose your percentage and make sure all layers is checked this time.

Add your copyright info so it is clearly legible.

Add your name in a font of choice. I used niagara engraved. Give it a drop shadow.

Diamond Elegance

This Tutorial was written by me, Angel Flower, from my own ideas. Any similarities to others is coincedence. All my tutorials are registered with TWI.

For this tutorial you will need a tube of choice. I am using the work of Jennifer Jenesko. You must purchase a license from CILM, www.cilm.com to use her work.

Scrapkit. I am using a PTU kit called Diamond Darkness by Shhh from ShhhSrapz. It can be purchased here http://www.fall3nangel.com/store/. Visit her blog here www.shhhscrapzshack.blogspot.com

New Image-600x600-Transparent.

Anytime we paste something and it is too big, you can resize it one of two ways. One way is to click the little arrow tool.
You should see a box around the layer you are on, unless of course what you are tyring to resize is bigger than your canvas.
We will get to how to fix that in a minute. Once you see the box, if you put your mouse at one of the corners, you can drag the corner to make the image smaller. Always drag the box by the corner, otherwise it will get all distorted.

The other way to resize, esp. for things that are bigger than the canvas, is to go to image, resize, and start with about 85%, all layers unchecked.
You may need to repeat this a few times until it is the size you want.

Paste a paper of choice, try to use one that is decorated rather than plain, as a new layer. Resize so it is the size of your canvas. This will be our background.
Paste a plain paper as a new layer and resize to the same as the first. Over in the layer palette, double click this layer, the plain paper, and change the opacity to
about 60. This is our overlay paper.

Paste a frame of choice. The one I used is actually a mat and was already decorated with paper. If you are using a regular frame, then you will need to add a paper for
the inside. To do this, grab your magic wand, mode-add, feather-0, tolerance-20, click the center of the frame, the empty space. Paste a paper as a new layer. Go to
selections-modify-anywhere between 2 and 10 depending on the type of frame. Now go selections, invert and on the paper we just pasted hit delete. Select none.
You should now have your frame with the paper only showing through the inside. Make sure the paper layer is below the frame layer.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Resize it so it fits nicely inside your frame. If there are parts sticking out that you want gone then get your magic wand again, same settings, make your frame layer active, click in the center of it and go selections-invert, back on your tube layer hit delete. Now select none.
I changed the blend mode on mine by double clicking the tube layer and under blend mode, choose lighten, or whichever you like the looks of best.

Paste a couple of heart and flower elements around one side of the frame. Make sure each one is below the frame and frame paper layer. See my tag for placement. I only put them on one side because the the mat i used as a frame had a decoration on the other side. If you used a regualar frame, you paste elements around both sides if you want.

Give each of your elements a drop shadow of 0,0,opacity 100, blur 10, color black. Give your frame layer the same drop shadow.

Paste a ruffle or ribbon of choice across the top of your tag. See my tag for reference. Duplicate this layer and go image flip. Position as i have mine.

Paste some sort of charm or chain with a charm. Position on one side of your tag under your frame layer. If needed resize. Duplicate and go image mirror. See my tag for reference.
Give each of these the same drop shadow we used above.

Now is the time if you wish to resize your tag to do so by going to image-resize, make sure all layers is checked this time, by about 85%.

Now add your copyright so it is clearly visible. Add Your name and give it the same drop shadow.

Thats it, you are done.
